Has anyone tried this new Board by Mark Raaphorst. Looks pretty sweet.  Mark just sent me these pictures and I'm wondering how it works???

Looks like they are changing the logo on all boards now. New look as the yellow is fades into the center.

I took a real good look at one on the weekend.  That along with the X-14.  They both look amazing, good weight and very sturdy.

I had my chance to paddle them but the 32km I already done kind of curbed my enthusiasm.  They do look good though, I think I want the 14'.  OK I NEED the 14'

any pic's of the X14? ;D

Paduan Sam

Is this one of his new downwind designs or a touring type board?

Does anyone have pic's of FX14. I asked Mark to send some but no response as of yet. can't wait to see it.

No pics but to me it looked a lot like the F14 with a semi displacement type nose, rudder, concave deck, not really shaped the X12 at all.  Much pointer nose and no drop deck as the X12 has.

To be honest it really looked a lot like the boards the our local guy DC makes here in QLD.  Looked fast, wish I could have paddled it.

When I get Pictures I will post. Can't wait to see.

Did you say the X14 had a rudder ??? do you have the option of fixed or rudder ??

CMC

Yep this board in particular had a rudder, I checked the link and it says it will have both options.  This one didn't have a fin box though, just rudder.

As I understand this board I was looking at was made in Maui but the actual stock sold globally will be made somewhere in the 'unmentionables' and will be sold in Aust at very good value.

Interesting how the X14 looks very different from the X12.
