Looks fun...3 different boards...but, the one on the right looks like it's probably the most versatile...

Here's my latest iteration...7'6" Mallet...

Which one did you get DJ?

The one on the left.. The Hover 122.. It's the windsurf/foil specific board.

I had a good look at one yesterday and I think I made the right choice.

From my understanding..

The one on the left (Hover) is a specific windsurf/foil board only. (you can't windsurf it normally)

The middle one (Titan) is a windsurfing board that you can mount a foil on. (you can also windsurf it normally)

The one on the right (Crossover) is a SUP board that you can both SUP/foil and windsurf/foil. (you can't windsurf it normally)

Note also that the foil mount uses two US fin boxes so maybe mounting two normal fins might give you a twinser type windsurfing set up but until someone tries it we won't know.

I have experience using twin, tri, and quad finned sailboards...and, would say that based on the box geometry and orientation...that it's not likely to work...or, work well...with what is shown anyways...but, one could always add boxes if they were so inclined...;-)

DJ...have you windfoiled yet?

No.. not yet.. and my board is due in September.

The anxiety must be killing you...;-)
I know all about it...I've had to wait for both of my foils...lots of missed days...all part of being at the "bleeding edge"...;-)

Just saw our friends Zac Brown Band (ZBB) sandwiched between a couple of days of windfoiling at the lake on the 7'6" Mallet...
The 7'6" Mallet windfoil board with the Kai GoFoil worked really well in the challenging conditions...felt really balanced in high winds with a 4.7m2 sail...could have been on a 4.2m2...fun part of the learning curve...more progression with every session...
