Post your Touring board!

dont really have a touring board but i gotta say i think sups are becoming like cars to me, i just like to look at them, i think theyre mostly all cool in some way. Going to BOP and just strolling around looking at all the different shapes-styles-colors it just cool to me, i dont really get bored looking at boards!

i find myself using this more than any other board i have. its working great on flat and chop. its perfect for river runs or just exploring the lakes. best part is, i just keep it in my trunk full time!

Starboard Touring 14' - in Carbon.

Hey Easy, is the new 12-6 x 29" Touring available in carbon as well as "wood" ?
Any idea as to the respective weights of each?

I noticed a pic of it on your website (Spain dealer trip) - looks like it has less of a pin tail too, just to add some stability.

The 29" x 12'6" will be available in carbon / wood and AST silver.
The 14' is the true "pin" tail. The 12'6"s (all 3 widths) still have a bit of a squared off tail.

Thanks Warren.  Does the AST Silver have a deck pad or is it the "touch" paint like the AST White?
I see the family resemblance to the BOP this board, with the added thickness/volume.. Nice....

Aloha Naishguy,
I am interested in the naish 12-6 inflatable but can't find any reviews.  Is it bouncy in chop like most inflatables?  I have read a lot about the Uli and most seem to like it, but naish has been a quality brand also.  My uses would be lakes and rivers no surf.  Any info helps.

I had a very hard time finding reviews also! The only person i knew that had tried one was Warrens son.he has tried most of the isups and was very pleased with the naish. I am only 140 lbs soaking wet but i get no bounce at all when inflated to 15psi. ive now rode chop, windy lake conditions and flat water and I'm very pleased with it.I'm sure the starboard 12'6 is very similar. Its very solid and if i stand on the tail is has no problem standing up with no flex.

Seems worth a try. The Naish shop here on Maui said he will let me demo the one they have.  Seems constructed well so we'll see!

Here are our SUPs - my husband's is the green one and mine is the white one.  His is more stable, but mine is faster so I don't have to work as hard to keep up with him.

My touring board is an 11'11" x 31" One World Surfari...excellent glide and stability...big plus is that it can also ride swells and waves nicely...a couple of strokes is all it takes...

It totally replaced a 14'er from another company that I used to ride...just switched to the carbon version at 23#...
