Finally :o Finally got a board! mint 08 12'6 Cruiser. Got out on her with a 7.8 NP and a good 15-18 kts. It was amazingly smooth over the chop(L.Ontario) loads of stability and the thing actually planed. Pivot jibes and tacks with ease and I was amazed how well it rode the waves back into shore.
Had an absolute blast!
Me now stoked

Great board....all wood bottom? Mine is no longer mint but it's still one of my favorite boards. One of the best all around boards made. I still haven't put a sail on it yet though...one of these days.

picked one up last week initially to SUP, but purchased for its dual-ability.  When I got sick of paddling, I hooked up an old sail I had, and wham... I was up and around.  (had only maybe 4 sessions of sailing before)  So, for this overweight, mid-forty yr old, It's like discovering prone surfing 20+ yrs ago...

woohoo....

After sailing several boards I also decided the 12'6" Starboard was the one for me. But to be clear I am not a waterstarting-wavesailing-quickjibing kind of dude, just happy cruising and planing on the bay and intercoastal waterways.

No the all white version....figure I would need the tougher construction cuz I'll be doing a lot of sailing on it. Really suprised how well it sailed with the dinky fin that came with it, just had a few cases of spin out from putting to much pressure on the fin...easy to recover tho
