Hey guys, I remember some time ago, some guy posted really nice pics form a camera mounted on a board, I was wondering what equipment is best for this. I have a waterproof camera, but I am willing to look further. I just do not want to buy a housing for my SLR.

I think some kind of suction device was attached to the board and paddle. What was it again?
Anyone have any tips for how to make it work?
I was also thinking of attaching a camera to my arm, and shoot from there..just want the view from the board looking at the waves.. :-)

Few questions,

Does that ever come off?
Do you have 'safety float' attached in case it does?
What size is the base of the puller?

Thanks
Davey

I have never had mine come off but I've not used it in big surf.. Others have (used them in bigger surf) without any problems... but it is possible to come off.

So.. Yes.. You need a float.. I use a small donut shaped float from a water skiing shop.

It's about 4-5" Dia.. It's amazing how well the stick.. It's not just a plain sucker.. When you lever the second handle over it sucks the air out.

Casso.. (Who does all the board reviews) also uses one also.

nice, so the suction thingy floats? Or do you recommend more floaty stuff on it?
