River Inflatable Board
« on: May 08, 2016, 11:18:36 AM »
Hi folks. wanna grab a second inflatable board for "soft" river running and for first time paddlers.
My options in Spain are both from Redpaddle, models from 2015, as they are on sale.

option 1. Ride 9'8, would be nice for ladies on flat water and would do good enough for triying ocean surf and would be durable on river.
option 2. Flow 9'6, would handle heavier riders, would be a great choice for river running, but I don't know if it could perform OK on flat water.

Price? the same.. about 800 eur.

any experience with those boards?

I'd probably go the 9'8" Ride. 9'6" Flow is a little too specific and the Ride will be better suited to the general all round paddling you'll want.

Havent tried either, but I'm familiar with the specs and I would agree with Green Water Sports. In my opionon, under 10 feet is small for adults when it comes to general use SUP's for flatwater.
