Probably a total newbie question..

Should all cracks/dents be repaired?  Least it not become bigger?  Not HUGE, but definitely not just a paint chip..

If I do a DIY, do manufactures have paint codes if I want to paint over?  Or should I just bring in somewhere?

If they leak they should be repaired.  Our little surf shop had an epoxy repair kit which I used to repair a busted nose.  Had to glass it back together but it is now sealed and good for the next person I loan it to.

I do not like dents on the bottom.  You could fill them and paint to match. Dents on the deck seem normal  like the footwells.  No repair for them unless they delam.

Thanks board lady...  Good info..

My board has a plug, but I think I'll try the plastic wrap method..

I like to keep epoxy around. The boardlady's website is great for instruction. You ll ding again and epoxy can be used to fix a miriad of problems around the home, car, boat, treehouse. If it has a crack its leaking. The repair doesn't have to be pretty, just keep the water out!! You can add color to approximate a match.
