Just sent Pono Bill the latest footage I got of Livio and Jeremy on a smokin day and the slightly longer version of the stuff that was on You Tube... only in 720p HD, which I now know is accepted on You Tube.    The day with Livio and Jeremy was very unsanitary for the lens and while I got some fly-bys very clear when I had the camera, when I put the camera on the greyhounds, the lens got wet but their footage was pretty cool so I sent it along.  Since it was not crystal anyway, I put in 4 seconds of my hunched, stiff, cameo appearance which hopefully doesn't ruin all the good stuff of the other two greyhounds.    Also added is a shot of Maliko gulch from the center of the bay looking back with Haleakala rising cloud free behind it.... my only good shot for that day.

Can't wait to see it.. Thanks.

Bill...  'after I drop my 1GB movie file into the public folder I don't get the dropbox options choose Dropbox > Copy Public Link. When I try from my account to upload from my files, the basic downloader allows me to choose but spins out and Safari quits, with the enhanced downloader I can't access the file. imac OS 10.5.8'

Sounds like you are a real life Clive Cussler with the cars... cool

Such a good video. Its long overdue that Downwinding had something like this. Try and try as I might its just almost impossible to verbally explain the thrill thats apparent in these few minutes of footage.

Yeah, yeah. I'm working on it, this quicktime streaming stuff isn't easy. I might have to actually buy a book. So far all the technical information I've found on the web points to web pages as examples that clearly are not the right one. Apple came out with Quicktime 10 that doesn't have an associated pro version that puts the proper hints in place to enable streaming. I've had set up a separate boot that loads the old Leopard OS but can run Quicktime 7 Pro. Driving me nuts. But I'll get it.

The HD version is 720p 30FPS and 14+ minutes long. Great stuff. I need to stop watching it and solve the problems.

My bad.  I sent Pono two of the same kind of unworkable files because I kept burning with iDVD and it won't stay in Quicktime if you use iDVD.  Just learning this stuff so bear with me.  Only have had iMOVIE since May and am STILL learning.  Of course no manual for me, just push buttons and see what happens.  Also been distracted because the wind is back big time after a brief BoP curse hiatus.  GOOD news is I finally burned it from my burn folder and it's on the way to him in the file he needs.  Aloha Bill
