Probably the most impressive paddle in surf foiling I have seen, some epic rides and hard wipeouts.  Everyone was getting really good rides.  Johnny says he wants the bigger peak the surfers were on and is confident he can make the drop...

When the latest gear meets clean East Coast surfing conditions you get this

US East coast.  Then it got big. Then it got crowded.  I watched Peter Lataille catching waves all over the place on a pure downwind board.  So I switched from the Bumblebee to the Sailfish and this happened.

Reminding me that if it's tiny or big, imperfect, windy or crowded the downwind, barracuda style Sailfish is the perfect tool for the job.

That spot looks very fun. What I've been working on lately is doing a full cutback, then when going right, kicking out that way with speed and pumping back to the next wave. It gives you a nice angle to get to the peak faster and the connection turn can be in a steeper section than always cutting out when going to the left.
