Bring it on. Dont know if I should be ashamed of this one. Might be time for a tidy up day!

Here are some shots of mine during different projects..
It's not overhead to me!

I'm sure I've shown this before, but this is mine. These are old photos, It looks a little better now. That speedboard on the wall has been cut in half and added to my gate like entrance pillars.

There's no good angle to get a full feel for the shop in a photo

There a few motorcycles. It's NOT a collection, it's an accumulation.

I make a lot of weird stuff.

This is the messy metal shop side--welding, cutting and shaping metal is extremely messy, even by my low standards.

I can tell - That Mongoose Fat-Tire looks Brand New!

Tall dude nice bit of woodwork going on there. Western Red Cedar?
PonoBill I thought that pic of the metal work on the roof of the van was a mad max foil for a second. Awsome.

PonoBill

I thought about making a hollow aluminum foil, but no. Here's the finished deflector:

Bill,

Nice 360 MX.

Is it destined for some vintage racing?

Mangaris Red. Not as tight as Ipe or Teak, but tighter than African / Philippine Mahogany. Probably similar price to clear Western Red Cedar. The dust fibers from Mangaris Red are nasty though. Even with a dust mask, I had a sore throat for a week straight after I finished.

Yeah, it looks like something I collected but actually I bought that bike new from Wheels Of Fortune Yamaha in Carson, CA. in 1974. I was the service manager of that shop. Desert raced and motocrossed the shit out of it. I won the open class at the Riverside Grand Prix one year on that bike--totally an accident, but a win is a win. All those bikes have history, and mostly the history is mine. The BMW I bought in 1972.

Here's the civilized part of the man cave. Usually it looks better than this but the extra furniture jammed in actually belongs in the Motohome I'm building.

Geezer race trophies--my grandson is bright enough to ask if all the trophies are real races or geezer class. Most are geezer class or guy on a weird board class (unlimited or surfboard, never 14'). The cool dimensional map of Hood River and the Columbia over the neck hangers is CNC routed by Brother Bob (Stoneaxe).

My cave is more storage and colder weather hangout than a workshop.  It's equipped with a wood burning stove, mini fridge, couch, tv, roku stick and extended wifi device.  In colder weather i'll crank up a fire relax and watch a game, take a break from the wife and two daughters for a bit.
