Just took delivery of my SMIK Hipster Twin from Scotty. Dims are 8'4" x 30.75 x 122 liters.

Scotty flew from Perth to Thailand to Kiev to Queens. Had a fun drive from RI to JFK.

He was stuck in customs a long time. Lessee a shifty looking Ozzie with 12 sups from Russia.

He rolled out a massive pile which we put in my truck and drove to his Dodge Red Ram rental.
I only got to keep one.

Scotty took some to his mate on the Island, and is now busting a move to Jacksonville.

Rode mine today in crap. Sweet none the less.

And if image resizer doesn't  fark up we have some evidence.

Nice stick, Bigs!

Scotty has to be one cool guy - traipsing around the globe with a 'full quiver'.  "Yes, Sir - I fully intend to ride every one of these on my vacation in your fair country."   Coming from a frank-speaking Aussie, it's 90% believable.

It is always a nice feeling to get a new sup to add to one's quiver. And the anticipation of that first ride with a new board can't be beat.
Blue Planet Duke: 10'5" x 32" x 4.5" @ 190 Liters (2 Dukes)
Sup Sports Hammer: 8'11" x 31" x 4" @ 140 Liters
SUP Sports One World: 11'1" x 30" x 4.5" @ 173 Liters
CJ Nelson Parallax: 9'3" x 23 1/2" x 3 3/16" @ 78.8 Liters (prone surfing longboard; Thunderbolt Technologies build in Red construction)

Zoo, Will def give a report. Olde skuhle, no cams, no solo shot, heck I don't even have a TV!

But I know people who are not adverse to such things!

Hope you have figured out how to get into some
waves!

That board looks really sweet.  Similar to my 8'6 Soul Compass.  I'm Surfing a little; leaving for California tomorrow and will surf a few times.  Going to the OBX in September, but mostly putting methadone on my surf addiction by mountain biking every day.

Have messed with fins and ridden it in knee to head and a half (Erin in ME).

The planshape is definitely like an olde skuhl Twinnie. This has the benefits of a wider nose which to my pleasant surprise makes this rascal stable in real world conditions.

It is not a wave pool glass only sled. Hard bottom turns are fun with little drama as the huge Twinnies with the trailer hold amazingly
well.

And then you get to experience the acceleration
out of a turn which is unique to Twinnies. Riding the old high line is also fun.

I suppose if I was beyond vert and doing huge airs I might prefer the Spitfire, but that only happens when I am preparing for a swim.

Works a treat in one foot, and I did fine in head and a half in Erin. And learned to swim on that day.

Too much fun for an olde fahrte..

The 9'3" by 33" looks like a perfect match for me.  However, I'm not sure if I want to take a trip to Oz to pick one up.  Smik needs a North American distribution/retail chain.

Hail SUPn

I would like to see Smik boards get picked up and distributed in the North America  also but if you really want one I would reach out to Scotty at Smik and see if he can get one shipped to you. I have a 8' Hipster Twin that I recently received and I live in Florida.

mrbig

Scotty and I have met in airports; had boards shipped from Hawaii Air Cargo. Covid has changed all that.

Tillo windsurfing now making boards at his factory in Thailand. A number of US orders were shipped from tillo in FL. It may happen again!
