I like this board Mil-Surf and its nice to see an F-one feedback. Does is it say where the country made from?

Quick update that I'm a few months in now on the board. One thing is for sure, F-One has a hell of a board here. I've not seen any shortcomings on this board now I've gotten comfortable with it and like it even more after demoing a few others. It truly is a do it all board. Knowing where to stand helps a ton! Just a inch or two forward or back makes a HUGE difference! "Trimming" the board has given me noticeable gains whether upwind, downwind, drafting etc. Trying to optimize that is what I'll now continue to work on. Still looks brand new, construction is top notch

Interesting. What "trims" do you use in what situations? I.e., when are you most forward, most backward, etc?

Little adjustments at best, maybe just a few inches. A bit more forward when I'm drafting. Seems to engage the bow a bit where I'm using a little more of the displacement and volume of the V. Seems to pull me along a bit better then being a  further back . Downwind pretty easy, a bit further back keeping the nose up and surfing a bit more. These are pretty obvious but I find the board just super stable and I can move around the sweet spot a bit. Still trying to figure out that sweet and unlock the potential but again see noticeable differences in speed by just moving around the board a bit. Crosswinds/chop too. Can shift just a tad to windward to engage that rail a bit more while paddling on opposite side helps to track a bit. I feel I have been to stationary on my boards in the past just grinding away and not using the shape and attributes of the boards as designed.

French company, I believe made in China. Distributed out of CA for the states. BAKS distribution. That's where I bought mine from, top notch customer service. Those guys know what they are doing there for sure and very easy to work with getting my board shipped.

I'd love to see a video comparison of your 2 boards on FLAT water.

No video for comparison, but the KM was super fast on FLAT water. I sold it for the F-one. The KM had a radical displacement bow and was silky smooth and fast on the lake. Pretty cheap feeling construction and sucked in any chop. The F-one is leaps and bounds better. Lighter, much better construction and I'm getting better times now even on a flat ass water. Even though labeled a flat water board I have had the F-one in everything from the ocean and surfing it to the flats and it does everything well. I feel I'm at the point where I'm completely satisfied with my board and know I'm the only road block in its potential. Need to just practice and train now!!
