One thing about the Creek color scheme, it was easy to spot you amongst the other surfers.  8)

funny---check cam rewind for lincoln (ny) on surfline--go to fri 2/23 420pm--see EB get many glassy knee highs!

surfed til last light---you can see me climb out---i get a decent right 2 mins into the 420 rewind section---decent for a knee high!

i am on my red creek 8'10"--true love!

i wanted blue/green but went red cuz the blue greean wouldve been custom and more $$--now the blue green is stock--that's ok, my ginger is just fine!

i never surf this peak, but my wife made me swear to never go out alone, esp in winter--my usual peak was empty and i saw 2 guys in on this cam, so ran over there--thus the cam--on a normal day the cam peak would be packed and is often inferior to my regular spot

i am waitng for it to warm up a bit to get on my SS3--i just dont have it in me to remove gloves/tinker/set up etc when it's freezing--mo better video then.....some day

Yup...looking good.....my wife thinks I'm getting started on the renovation of our guest bathroom this weekend. Not sure how that's going to work...actually...pretty sure I'll be in the doghouse.

my wife will be away--issue is, will i have the required stones????

sunday pm here is called doh with lotta east in the swell--can get dicey with the jetties we have--and they just built them up appreciably over the last year--no chance of just washing over them now

once on a big day i had the choice of bailing in front of a jetty, which would have risked many variations on serious trouble, or getting high on the wave and surfing over--opted for that and made it, nicked a rock on my board--that mark is still there--lucky

that is no longer an option with jetties rebuilt much thicker and taller (which on small/medium days is better--shields wind well)

worst case ill find a less massive window or try high tide where it'll jack up less

check our cams sunday clay and OB folk---doh beachbreak!

RI looks like it should be fun this weekend. 4'-5', 14s....offshore at 10-15.

I'm sure not going local this weekend 30-40 mph onshore...wish it was going to pull away quicker and give me the Tuesday forecast on Sunday. I should be able to get some of it late Tuesday if it holds. Whitehorse Beach just to my south could be very nice. 2.5 ft at 13s with 10 mph S wind will be just about perfection there. I'm off Wednesdays too so hoping it holds over a bit. Maybe a paddle out to the bank on my 14'er for some freight train rides.

I have to rethink my stones after Maria....or simply prepare better. Gear can certainly help when it gets big. Going waste leash from now on and won't go out in anything approaching that without an impact vest. Can't take a beating anymore...takes too long to heal.

I got washed over the small jetty at Plymouth beach on my back shortly after 1st starting to SUP. Made a dumb mistake in a bad spot, got a few bruises but that was it. I just laid as flat as I could and was very lucky...thought for sure I was going to break something but i just skipped over it and down the other side onto the sand.

Took the daily trek to the beach today to make sure the water was still there.....talked to a local crew who were getting totally jazzed for this weekend.  Got a feeling it'll be proner paradise....good thing is room to spread out and all spots should be pretty good throughout the region.  I'll probably zoom in for a pre-big swell session and then ride the remnants for several days next week after the weekend crowd.  Probably play photo/videographer Sat and Sun...wind Sat supposed to be 25-30mph but start to back off to 15-20mph Sun.  Of course that could change a bit.  Should be some exciting action!

Oh well....my dream forecast for next week at my local has gone and gotten all blown out, gentle offshores have changed to 25 mph onshore.... >:(. fingers crossed it changes back. At least this weekend down south still looks awesome.

Sorry to hear Stoney.....I'm hoping the wind doesn't blow down here as currently forecast.  They're still saying darn near 30mph tomorrow, upper 20mph Sat and then about 20mph on Sunday.

I went out this morning and there was a nice pulse of set waves every 15 mins or so.  Took out the B&B but was wishing I was on the Creek given somewhat steeper faces.  Rang in March with a sess which was good.

See ya soon!
