Very cool. How deep is that footwell, of is that just perspective? There's some unexplored territory in deep wells with drains--speed to be had there.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

I paddled with Cyclops yesterday morning and the board sure runs clean at the bow and the stern.

We chuckled about how the board is Camo but Greg was wearing a fluorescent truckers hat.

It was my second time around Osterville with the paddle crew there and I really enjoy it.

3" drop 5" from highest point .provides stability to the 25 1/2" width. Wicked fahkin fast!! Looking to try different ventral fins to help in the wind

The more of Patrick's boards that I see, the more I want one.  I really like that he's constantly studying board design and tweaking things.  He makes some beautiful boards.  Greg is that 18 footer going to cross the bay this summer?

CYCLOPS

Your right on John, every board gets better.cant wait to try his new 14'. Gonna see how my shoulder feels in July before I commit to ccbc

What a beauty. Patrick's been paddling and thinking about SUP longer than anyone else on the east coast and it shows.

'Clops,

Bearing in mind that NONE of these toys are inexpensive...
I've heard the "custom is cheaper than mainstream brand" argument.
Is it true for a board like that?

spook, this board was hand built  in america using american made materials.yes it costs more than a china board

Once you experience the glide of an unlimited, your 14' just feel like a dog. The up side to the 14' is you can surf it. Unlimited board in the surf prompts so many "why am I doing this" thoughts that run though your head. I know Pono can relate! I can still picture that great surf approach sequence from the finish at the BOP last year on your crooked speed board.  ;D
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

pdxmike

That is a beautiful board.   There's something special about unlimited boards, and most of all custom ones.
