freezin' to death.... I mean.

April 27th... that's almost May right???

Get Al Gore on the phone.... he's gotta lighten up on the whole global warming thing.

Went out today.... Truro Dave went as well... fairly clean when I got out... North wind picked up... it became victory at sea before the end of the session. Couple of shortboarders and us... no crowd today.

I wore a 4/3... hood, booths, gloves and had trouble staying upright on a 9'5 x 32.... sheesh.

I did get a couple of good waves... the beach Cam actually got me taking off on a juicy right.

Afterwards, I put on everything in the car and hung out to get a shot of Dave on his red Angulo.... he obliged me by getting a nice right on the south peak... I added a nice shot of Dave about to get worked... ;D

then home to a hot shower ;D

Anyway... you reeeeeally missed it.

Rick:

Thanks for the pics.  I was hoping that the rip exiting the channel might knock down some of the northerly wind chop on the faces of the peak to the South.  It may have (a tiny bit) but it also kept me drifting to the South and into the peak.....hence the crushing.

You got out at the right time.  I stayed in and ended up chilled to the core.....WTF.....almost May??

Ah HA!  I drew you out of the shadows ;D

Welcome to the Zone NEsS.... always good to have hard core SUPsters join the fray.

Looked like you were enjoying the rip ;).... I stayed north and found a "sort of" channel to play with.... and no rip... just a hefty drift moving south,

Creek:

Apparently your stoke eventually illuminates the shadows;)  But really, it is great that you take the time to post pics and vids.

I eventually got several nice long rights, but it was really a workout trying to hang in the takeoff and maintain balance in the chop.  But it was worth going out.

Creek and Dave, You guys are way too old to be playing in the cold like that! :) See you when and if the waves and sun can get it together. It looks like it may be awhile.
