I love the Dog...The board is cool too (to narrow for me)

that board is a beast!

"flat water" or not, she looks like she'd be fast in in most conditions...

Wow 24" and this sport is just in the infancy stages.  I'm with you Jim, a man's got to know his limitations.

If Frenchie could speak, I think she would say "dis board makes me look slim, no"?

Thanks, DJ.  Always love your thorough photos.

I tried a Fanatic Falcon 14x24.75 at gorgebob's recent demo.  Out of about 10 boards (all great ones) it wasn't the best one for me practically (that would have been the Infinity Whiplash) but the narrowness made it my favorite to try, and if a genie granted me one board to take home, the Fanatic probably would have been it.  The narrowness makes it so fast, and the thing that surprises you instantly on a narrow board is how easy it is to have a good stroke, vertical and close to the board, which makes it a joy to paddle.  Plus I just like the challenge of narrow boards because the water is usually quite flat here.

This Flatwater is even narrower, but it has a wide tail vs. the Fanatic pintail, so it may be more stable than the width suggests.  It looks well thought out for flatwater.

Mike a little of topic...but still designed in Aussi. Give the dugout NSP 24" a try pigtailed an round bottomed...super fast.I couldn't handle it on anything but flat water though

I've raced one recently on an 8.5km river race and found it incredibly stable for 24" wide. It feels a bit more stable than my 25.75" ocean falcon.
I did have some trouble trying to find the best standing spot on it but I think that's more down to me than the board. Practice makes perfect!!
