Here is a silly one for you.....
Some people name their cars.
Do you give your boards names?

I've named all my short boards and I think I've got one for my SUP now too.

Terra (like terafirma - my own little piece of earth on the waves)

PonoBill

I call my gecko board "sticky", as in Stay sticky, gecko.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

My 9'6 PSH Ripper's name is Kelly Rippa.

TitoRincon

I named my 10' C4 "Horsey". But now that I think of it I should have name it "Bodacious" from bullriding. At 240# it was hard for me to stay on top of it for more than 8 seconds. 16 months later and 30# less, I tamed the beast!

My bro, who shreds but is currently serving in Iraq, dubbed my 11' Walden:

                                  !!!PADDLESTAR GALACTICA!!!

Naming boards reminds me of when my Minnesota friends were visiting me. They were very interested in my surfing, probably because I kept dragging them to the beach to watch me. One evening, my friend's wife asked me "Are you attached to your board?" I answered, "Well, I guess so; I really do like my newest long board quite a bit.' She looked at me kinda strangely, thought a bit, and said, "Oh, I didn't mean emotionally attached, I mean physically, like with a rope or something".

I am attached to my SUP boards, just not enough to give them names.
