Easy Rider

Hi All

Well color me lucky - I just was given an all inclusive / all expense paid 7 days for me and my wife in Playa Del Carmen by the radio station I do all my shops advertising on.  The only hitch is that we leave tomorrow morning at 7:00 AM.

Does anyone know if there are any SUP's for rent around there?

It looks like a fairly "flat" ocean - but even some paddling of any type would be fun.

Thanks
Warren

There is a kitesurfing shop there that might have them. There is another in Cozumel that might be able to hook you up, or know the people who could.

The real waves are on the windward side of Cozumel. A 20 minute (passenger only) ferry ride, then car rental and drive to the far side.

There were some people from www.Realkiteboarding.com on Cozumel 2 years ago and they had JL SUPs.

THere is a windsurfing shop right on the beach next to "blue Parrot" (can remember - but main nightclub on the beach near center of the strip).  They didnt have any stand up paddleboards but they have a few F2 windsurfers that I used a few times when I was there.  I brought my paddle.

Great area for SUP and can you out to some of the reefs for a better snorkel..

If you go make sure that you hit the SouthWest reefs on Cozumel for dives or snorkeling.  Palacar has some of my favorite dives,  all are excellent
