Absolutely right on! There is something special about a good day in a New England Winter! A certain kind of tired satisfaction that is enhanced by the elements.

The huge thing that the in the video, that the surfers are missing.... is SUP!
Add flat-water paddling in all those beautiful marshes and rivers they showed in the clip, plus the incredible paddle opportunities in nearby Maine... and the wait wouldn't seem like a "wait" at all.

I'm am going to paddle a new spot right now... mirror glass this morning. Should be very nice!

I was thinking the same thing Rick. Those guys did a nice piece with Shawn (exetersup) awhile back if you want some sup. Just got back from an early morning lake paddle. 40's, light fog, drizzle, and glass. Smelled some wood burning from the houses. Felt a little like New England even though I'm stuck here in NY.
