Northern California Report:  Buoy 2.6 @ 13.  Dead flat, flat, flat, flat.   Except at one spot.  Reef break, foggy then clear and GLASSY.

All you could eat waist to head high.  3 SUP's . . .  ZERO proners (too far to get to this spot, sharky and tends to be harder for them to catch).

Thought it was just going to be a workout paddle and I haven't had so much fun on 4 foot waves with my 12 foot board in a long while.  We tend to surf through the rocks to spice things up.  Got my scare on a few times.  Air temp: 60's, Water Temp: 49 (brrrrr).  Borderline surreal and excellent.

Pono? (Sorry had to give a friendly jab to those stuck in paradise when possible)

I was out today at Cardiff Reef.  It was beautiful out.  Felt good to trunk it again.  Waves were so small it was one of those days that was impossible to fall in.  I think my right shin got splashed once.  Water was pretty clear with a lot of fish out.  Was nice just to get out and paddle and ride little one footers.

Other side of the bay from you Beasho.

Peaky sand bar, about knee high. Waist high on the big sets. Not another person beside my two friends for miles. Sunny, glassy and the same water temp as you guys (brisk).

Love it when the rest of the surf world thinks it's "flat".

Great day here as well I'n Wrightsville,NC!    Chestish with hard offshores.    Caught a lot of waves and did pretty well by my standards, as I chose a less crowded break with a better vibe.  Fighting low back muscle spasms, but surf was too good to not paddle out.
I still seem to catch a funny current and fall immediately before the best wave of the set comes  Despite my foreknowledge and trying to be ready for it, it happens a lot!   It must be some backwash from the previous waves, and it has cost me many good set waves!     I was right on the edge of my board's weight range, and my wetsuit puts me over. Oh well, just think how it'll float me come spring!

Yep. OB was great! waist to chest high, 4 of us SUPs out, nobody else ...had the place to ourselves. 70 and sunny. too bad it's gonna be big and cold tomorrow.

Went to the southside looking for a downwinder or just a flatwater paddle. Straight onshore. Had lunch with the wife, drove home dry.

You should have went further. s-turns was nearly empty on my way home from work. The wind was on it in the am. but not at 3. The bay was churning up some good surf as well, with a minimal crowd.
