Hey....I am signing up for the 2012 SEAPADDLE NYC  in a few weeks when registration opens.....how many of you in Ct area are doing this event this year......would be gr8 to get a group for training for this in the Spring/Summer....I am in Branford, Ct......catch ya Rob

I plan on doing too. Live in the Mystic area but paddle the Thimbles all the time. I am putting together a "team" for training. Stay in touch and we can setup some paddles.

Hey....Thanks for letting me know...a group for some summer training would be great.  Have you done this event before?  I just started last August..I have not done any events yet...this looks like a cool one....you been paddling much over the winter....what kind of boards do you have....keep me informed..Thanks Rob

Hey guys, just found this thread when I searched Connecticut. How's the training going? I'm in the Mystic area too, not planning on doing the sea paddle NYC cause my wife is due with our first child on the 15th of August. I plan to take part in some smaller races in CT and RI this season though and do my paddling in SE CT and would join in on some training. Where in the mystic area do you typically paddle?
