Love it! Lived in a van there for a while with a buddy in '90. Just drove around looking for waves and got plenty. Gonna take the family back one day and do the same in a motorhome. Thanks for taking me back.

Yeah you would have had plenty alright, Im heading to a place called Whangamata, (faang- a- ma- taa) for you yanks, which is a blinding left, tomorrow, should be good will put a vid of it together.

Nice vid!
I spent a month surfing my way around the North Island on my way to OZ.
North to South and both coasts
I got great waves and nice vibe every where I went in New Zealand.
Even drove a dirt mountain road from Mahia Peninsula to Taupo... man that place is crazy beautiful from every angle.
The nicest people I ever met : )
