We started doing spins and switch tricks last summer on river waves which got us thinking about a Twin Tip board. Here is the first prototype...

Little too much ice to surf in the river right now, but when we get a little warm up I can't wait to play with it...

madmax

Man, I don't see that working.  BUT if it does... that's pretty darn innovative.  Good luck.

Yeah not sure...not afraid to try though! There is too much ice in the eddies right now at our wave, but I paddled it in a pool the other night and with extra nose rocker and the nose fins set forward it felt no different paddling then our normal River Surfer. We'll see...we'll post some video when we can...

That board is gonna make Glenwood Wave its bitch.

Looks like a cool design.  Has more of the look of a wakeboard.  I am interested to see how it will perform.  Should allow you to ride switch and still get some grab which will make riding the waves even more fun.

No that my friends looks quite INSANE ;D

Yeah I think it will work. We were surfing a lot like this last summer

and that was with not very much rocker.

You know you inspired that twin tip in those couple of sessions we had with you last June, Dan...

corran

Twin tips are awesome... I was working on this for river waves a few years ago... straps and all ;-)

Badfish

Corran, that's cool. How did those "fins" on the nose work? That's an interesting concept...

corran

Well.. didn't get in the way when surfing normally, and had just enough hold when fakie
