The carbon/epoxy Dominator is very flexy and super susceptible to pressure dents and dings.  I am getting dents on the bottom just from where it sits against my hip while walking down to the water!  But, it is fast and very fun to downwind.  And very stable, even in big chop.  I only wish they had added two pounds to it and made it a little more tough.  It already looks like I've had it a year, when I've had it 2 months.

I just took my JM 12'6 in to get repaired very disappointed with the construction on this board the glassing is paper thin it would crack with finger pressure in various places exposing the foam just below the surface is this what is meant by "Pro Elite"?

I don't think the rackitup SUP design would support the JM / race board shapes... Might send them an email

After all their motto is "If you have something to store, we'll get it off the floor"

Need to get my boards of the ground went to Bunnings today with the aim of MacGyvering up some brackets to use as wall board racks with no real success.

After some options & ideas don't want to spend too much...

Thought these looked pretty good nice & cheap too... http://rackitup.com.au/standuppaddle.htm

Gear Talk / Next Board...?
February 29, 2012, 05:18:05 AM
Got the 12'6 JM for racing, DWers & the Coreban Icon 10ft as my all-round board now I just need a great performance board to round out my quiver...

At the moment I weigh 100kg & I don't mind if it's a little challenging at first I'm hoping to loose some weight with all the Supping over the next 6 months... & I have the Icon for messy conditions. I'm no shredder at the moment but I can surf ok and really want a board that I can progress with upping my game in waves up to 6ft...

So far I'm considering the following:

- Jimmy Lewis Kwad 9'1
- Naish Hokua 9'5
- PSH Hull Ripper 9'6
- Fanatic ProWave 9'2
- Surftech Laguna Bay 9'1

All pretty sweet boards could be a tough decision so any feedback on these or other suggestions would be great.

Cheers.
