Dave has been busy this week. First a fine post on using your paddle during turns that has me itching for big surf, then this excellent piece on Noseriding. Driving me crazy. Obviously Dave has been having too much fun in the surf.

I'm kind of excited about the noseriding tips. I never thought about keeping the board at the top of the wave to noseride. I've seen people do that, most specifically Jimmy Lewis, but I never gave it any thought.

I'll certainly be trying that as soon as I either man up and get in the cold Oregon surf, or get back to Maui.
