Well my 15 minutes was actually 30...I was interviewed by long distance paddler Shane Perrin for his Stoke Radio show called Going the Distance.  He interviewed me to discuss Midwest racing and Blkbox surf.  I feel pretty good about it overall.

The play button is under the photo of Shane Perrin next to the volume button.

Thanks...

Impressive stuff Rob, congratulations on your racing success and board development.

You handled the interview like a pro..... definitely made great use of your moment in the spotlight.

I am not a racer and don't own anything other than surf SUPs... but took a look at the Blkbox boards.... they look excellent!

Good luck in future races.... maybe an appearance at the Cape Cod Bay Challenge???

ZooSUP

Great interview man! Way to rep Michigan and the great lakes racing/paddling scene!

I have always been amazed at the pure aesthetic beauty of the BlckBox boards I have seen. And seeing the new ones for you and Gary Stone in the Paddle Board Specialists website from the Carolina Cup...they look killer, man. They intrigue me.

Keep spreading the good word, bro!  ;D

Thanks!  It was a fun experience.  I appreciate your kudos ZooSUP and supthecreek.  I have looked at the CCBC event with interest.  I would love to travel there.  Thanks.

Woo-hoo! Couldn't have picked a better SUPer to rep the Mitten - you work hard and deserve that recognition  ;D

As an aside - would you mind sharing the website for your wife's non-profit? My husband works in pediatric oncology and it sounds like it would be a good reference to have on file. Thanks!
May you build a ladder to the stars and climb on every rung...

Thanks mittenkitten!  Her nonprofit provides free equine therapy for children with terminal illnesses.

The website is www.healwithahorse.org

She will be stoked!  That was her favorite part of the interview.
