I just happened to come across the twitter page for SEA Paddle NYC 2013 and noticed that this year's event has been scheduled for Friday, August 9, 2013. No other details are available at this time.

I am planning on signing up this year (my first time participating)!  Who else is planning on signing up?  Can't wait to start training as soon as things thaw out around here...

I am watching the page with interest. I'd like to register but that would really be putting the cart before the horse for me, and the 'minimum fundraising' is a little worrisome—does the paddler have to make up the difference if he/she falls short?

I'd love to do it someday but unlikely to happen, always right next to the CCBC and fundraising for one is hard enough.
