Beach Break Board???

I'm not really sure how much Dan rides his SUPs. The 8'2" in the bottom photo works great in small surf like in the video you posted. It's even more fun in bigger surf. However, it's not really made for steeper fast pitching beach break waves. That's what the 7'6" is going to be for.

I had Nolte build me a custom longboard a few years back (before I got into SUP) and his craftsmanship is outstanding.  I've only heard good things about his SUPs and the acid smear colors his uses is very cool looking.

Thanks everybody.  I have a call into Nolte and have been dialoguing via email with Dan at Solid. 

FMS can you post some pics of your Solid Rocket?  (board shots and or action shots).  The stepped rails have me hung up a bit.  Think I would prefer something more conventional.   Maybe he is very innovative but its not a design you see out there very much.  PSH seems to be going the other direction with beveled rails on the bottom but a more conventional looking deck. If you cant post em, email them to me at Larry@casabonita-pr.com and I will post for all to see.  Thanks.
