The West is Burning
« on: September 12, 2020, 02:30:31 PM »
What a mess.  The Gorge has so far avoided immediate fire threat but the whole state is a full on smoke out.  What are you guys seeing?

Check out the Gorge Cams.

Yup. We are in the Fraser Valley in BC, Canada and we are smoked in right now from all the fires in the western US.

Stay safe everyone!

What an amazing and bizarre event.

I'm going to file this under "I've never seen this in my career, but I probably should have expected it this year" as some of this thick smoke from the historic fires burning in Oregon and California is now getting sucked right into a Pacific storm.
