Heading to Todos Santos in about 3 weeks. Flying United Airlines. They want $200 each way for a surfboard or SUP. I've heard there are some decent rentals and also heard that there's not a lot of quality surf sup rentals  ::) . So any info would be great. Thanks Tom

You might try emailing this pescodero surf camp, http://pescaderosurf.com/ for advice. I'd assume that if they have SUPs, they aren't very good. If you are flying into Cabo and renting a car, you would be better off renting there. I have a friend who has SUPed there quit a bit. I think he keeps a couple of his boards there. I've spent some time in that area but have always brought my own board. Looks like a ripoff on United. You might see if you can fly Alaska Air where boards go as regular luggage. Where are you flying from?

TomKat

Flying from Orlando. Alaska was $1,000+ and a 15 hour layover. United was only 6 and a half hours travel time.  Mario"s only has big boards and one little 7'9"x27" which would be too small.

Any other suggestions are appreciated.

Hey Tomkat - wondering if you were able to rent a decent board down in Cabo last year?  I'm heading there next month and can't bring a board with me from NY looking to find a decent performance board.

Thanks,
