Jeff Clark flying at Ocean Beach in San Francisco.

This video has pushed one of my friends over the edge: "Where is the buy button?"

I was asking Haley Fiske about foiling at Ocean Beach he said "It's great you paddle out 200 yards, take off at a 60 degree angle heading North and fly for 400 yards (do the math Cosine 60 degrees).  Then paddle straight back out take off 60 degrees heading South and fly for 400 yards . . . ."

Jeff is displaying what a great beach break can mean for foils on small days.

This one is worth the watch.

Dave Kalama explaining his passion for foiling.

You can watch the whole thing at the bottom, but he gets into the

Don't forget about this guy:

First off, apparently being the son of a shaper/designer makes you instantly good at foiling. Regardless of continent.

Second, at the end of the weak wrap video they show a clip from Norwell9 which is a hilarious Instagram account covering North LA County. Really funny.

kalama is right about life: to have pursuits that thrill and require challenge and perseverance to improve, where one actually improves....is to live.

i am a solid skiier for my age, always have been---skiing is certainly the sport i have always been best at all my life---i havent skiied my best in 25 years---i enjoy it, but my days of improving are long over--i strive to fail less quickly!

i get better all the time with sup-surfing--new thrills, new skills--i am a playa on skis---will never be a playa sup-surfing---but enjoy it more---having new challenges/pursuits, where one can extend effort and improve, is life-sustaining

foils looks compelling, but ive got so much more to learn sup-surfing

if i lived by the water, i would certainly investigate---the ability to get on the water, riding, where surf would otherwise be meh, would motivate

for now tho, i am getting exactly what kalama describes with sup-surfing

Wow this video makes it look so easy and so so fun!  Looks like he might be getting bungeed or winched launched out through the whitewater?  This is the kind of video I would love to hear commentary on the back story.

A couple more shots of Jeff foiling OB:

Cool video clay. That water is so clear that I kept thinking "He's gonna hit bottom" but he never did. Silly long ride for sure. That is exactly how I dream of riding some day. Still waiting for someone to ride one of those tanker waves off Texas to set a distance record. Until then this will be on top of my list. Thanks for sharing

Realllllllllly long fun looking ride:

The last scene in the new Laird film 'Take every wave' has the longest foil ride on a huge ocean swell that has the helicopter filming him circling him slowly about half a dozen times.. Amazing.

Great stuff of Jeff Clark foiling Ocean Beach.  Nice shot at the end with Jeff, Cassandra and Wilson over Rockies cove.

Jeff and Haley are the only 2 people I have seen willing to take off HOT on bigger stuff.  I can't get anyone else to come out with me.

Here was my Maliko 200 Video from a couple weeks ago. Flying over Stingrays, Seals and through the Rocks at Mavericks where no one has ever flown before.
