Are we gonna just sit here typing on our computers or are we gonna cut the meat?

Gotta get me some of that official Prancercise(TM) music. Or maybe not--it seems to be stuck in my head. Ba Ba, bum, bum, bum ba, badahdumdebah, ba ba, bum bum...  Now it's stuck in yours. Tag, you're it.

Actually, I'm screwing off when I should be cleaning my shop, which looks like hurricane Ffharaffnagle passed through after three very messy projects in two weeks. By the way, what ever happened to naming hurricanes with names we've actually heard before. Who is in charge of this? Is this the SUPAA? Those bastards, they have their fingers in everything. they're really cuttin' the meat.

One thing about that SUPAA article, it started off "SUP racing rules are suddenly a hot topic for conversation on the beach and online after last weekend’s Battle of the Paddle", then focused on rules.  What's interesting to me is that rules haven't been much of the discussion here at all.  Most of the comments about rules have been that rules shouldn't be the focus.  The discussion here has focused on understanding what happened, sportsmanship, character, how the two guys might work things out between themselves in the future, etc.  Since SUPAA is focused on creating rules, it makes sense that it'd cast this whole thing as a discussion about rules and a need to create and enforce them.  But I'm glad I don't see that as the focus of people here.

I always thought that SUPAA considered the BOP races to be outlaw races with no affiliation to SUPAA. And now they want to impose their rules on them? wtf

Kai - "Honestly, I don’t think there need to be rules and everyone should play fair, but that’s not going to happen." ..... "If he is taking me down, I felt he should be coming with me."

Connor - "For sure there needs to be rules and what we did made everyone realize we need rules." ..... "this race I learn that playing Kai’s game is never the right thing to do."

Classic comments - Ok let's cut to Ornstein and Rohrback again .....  ;)

On the other side of the coin, is the Turtle Bay world series of SUP races where the event organizers changed the course minutes before the start regardless of all the competitors knowing, and then sending the water safety jet ski home before the womens' final with 10' north shore waves… Unlike BOP, racers were NOT stoked by the lack of organization.

There's been a 3 mph rail bump on a waist high wave.  In other news, Ariana Grande tweeted that Selena Gomez looks fat in red.

Of lesser import, Nancy Sneiderman responsible for Ebola. Stock Market Plummets based on news that autopilot Teslas's drive only in circles.
Best post yet, but don't forget Amanda Bynes will be held for up to a year now, against her will, and be fed psychotropic drugs against her will, gnarly!!!!
Actually I feel sorry for her, she was one of my daughters favs.
It takes a quiver to do that.
