Zone Upgrade

Hi guys,

We are preparing to upgrade the Zone to the newest version of our forum software.  We have been running on the older line of the software since 2007.  It was fairly new back then and we have updated it frequently so it is current within that line...but support and updates for that line are now coming to an end.  

There are a lot of advantages to the newer software but we will be running a bit ugly during the transition.  All user data, posts, messages, etc will be preserved and will transfer over.  We will temporarily lose many/all of the mods we have made until we can reinstall and configure replacements.  There may be some reduced functionality and/or a short downtime.  

This will likely start next weekend and might take a week or so until we have it fully pretty again.

Soooooo,

That was the switch over to the newer software (which we are live on now).  Now on to the reinstalling and beautifying stage.  This will take some time.  I will try to get the big stuff restored first (video embedding) etc.  More shortly....

It looks pretty. But disappointed the software is trying even HARDER to force me to use Flash. Not only does it nag for the plug in, but the links to play it, when you can't see it, are gone.
