Seeing this, I'm afraid it's inevitable--one day there is going to be a new offshoot sport from standup paddling:  Synchronized SUP. 

I'm not looking forward to hearing the Theme from Rocky (disco version) or Star Wars Overture over and over again during the Synchronized SUP contests that will be taking place between races at the BOP, but at least the sequined boards might be sort of cool.

Sorry Jon, being Canadian I have to call your foul on this one.  It was SCTV and he wore an orange life vest.  Actually, Harry Shearer wrote the skit so I guess it remains a USA masterpiece.
