Took my 9'4 Acid out today for the 1st time since November, because since wetsuits came off I have had the 8'10 Flow, 9'1 Acid and 9'4 Creek to play with.

The Acid is such a good board.... like all the rest of Bert's creations!
Whatever one I'm on is my favorite  ;D ;D ;D

Excellent, great for the vicarious thrills.

Santa Cruz has been a wave desert for going on six weeks.  I got one nice session last week, which was unexpected.

I can't remember such an extended dry spell since I have been doing this, though spring and summer tend to be the flattest times.

Winter:  choppy, disorganized, messy and violent.  Summer: flat mostly.  I have been turning to alternative recreations.  Guess I may finally get motivated to rent a racing board and try one out for an up and down the coast run and see if I can manage it.

Thanks Creek

Nice surfing! Great floater at 2:10. Really appreciate all that you put into your videos. I have been out on my 8'10" Skate seven of the last eight days in 2-4ft waves. Perfect for this board. Amazing how getting out a few days in a row improves my surfing. You are inspirational.

I'm always impressed by the mellow and stoked crew you surf with, very nice.
You seem to be getting a clean stretch of winds to keep the playground well groomed, and so many toys.

My second Sunova, a custom 9' Acid is somewhere in the production/delivery chain with an eta of this fall. Thanks for showing me what I can look forward to.

Nice video Rick!  I really like the look of that area no houses just hills.  Would love to visit one day.

Thanks, paddlejones!  That would allow me to flounder and fall on my face on flat water rather than the ocean.

I am a bit under the weather lately, it has been a bad health year with virus plagues, but I could PM you sometime in the future when you are taking your board out to Shadow Cliffs.

Cheat,
Sure Saturday's work best for me...
Get well though.    FYI coming up on the no wind time of the year. Mid sept. Hot and no wind make for great paddling at del valle in the evenings.
