One thing for sure, you don't want to go any smaller. I would recommend 120l at your weight unless it's clean conditions. I'm 86kg, on 6'5" jimmy L, and fall off it about 30 times a session waiting for waves.

That info came right from the JL shop on Maui. Can't imaging they were trying to mislead anyone. I went and bought that board this weekend, under the same impression as you. Picked it up and was like this more than 15 lbs. Carbon is 15.5
At any rate, this thing paddles amazing! No more missed waves! Can't believe how straight it stays when trying dead starts in the chop.

Anybody have thoughts on volume for prone, what is too much? 86 kg rider
I want to try prone but don't want to spend the money on a board. I was going to try my 90l wing board, bad idea?

Hey Vancouver foiler, are you being bias?  I know OR is a big deal up that way, just want to make sure you don't work or ride for them....

Foil SUP is my favorite! Any chance u get to foil will help, I'm not a big fan of behind the boat but some people like it. I would just get out there with someone who can give you a lesson. Just make sure the conditions are good for learning and stay away from epic surf.
Kite foiling really helped me with the SUP.
