Hey everyone in the New England States: Let's get together for a paddle (wave or flatwater depending on conditions) on Monday January 17th, at Jenness Beach, in Rye, NH.
There's plenty of parking as well as a nearby marsh and harbor (protection from the wind if necessary). We can meet up at Jenness, paddle out for some waves then talk story at the local bah.
I know there's a bunch of us within 1-2 hours of Rye, so I'm hoping Jenness will be a great place to meet up. It's definitely a sweet beach to SUP with multiple breaks up and down.
Contact me for directions, or just find NH 1A, Jenness Beach on a good NH map (just keep the ocean on the right coming from the south, left from the norht ;D)
This could be a fun day if we can meet up. See ya then! ~Shawn

Very tempting! Would be nice to get back "home". I'll see if I can convince my buddy/sensei to do a little roadtrip up there. Will keep you posted.

Shawn, sounds like a great idea - I'm a little short on the cold weather gear, only have a 4/3 wetsuit, 3mil booties and no gloves.  So, not sure about the 40 deg water temp.  Will definitely keep it in mind and watch the weather and surf reports.  Bill

No worries if you can't make it, just wanted to get some of us cold-clime folks together in the heart of winter.
Hof~I have some extra gloves and an extra 5mil suit (xl) if you want to borrow.

Let's keep looking at the weather and swell reports, and I'll post another message on the Sat/Sun of MLK weekend with more detailed forecast info.

Hope to see some of you there!
