Build your own board?

Has anybody tried these kits? There was an article in Make Magazine about this board kit. I guess its fairly green in terms of nasty chemicals,etc. According to the article you don't need a respirator to build one....

In the same edition of Make they had an article about a cardboard surfboard kit.

Its really cool. The guy who makes these kits has a small CNC machine that cuts out the parts! You gotta check out the videos.
