Hey SEA, the harness was something Brett put together just so we could try skateboard tricks. You don't need a harness to do the balancing exercises.

Thanks.

Iv'e been resuming my work outs with the Surfball after a month layoff. This thread and all the posts have gotten me inspired to continue with my rehab of shoulder. what kinda stuff do you do on the surfball ??

I tried the clubbell yaw press yesterday with a 10lb clubbell and it was hard as hell. A  one arm shoulder press combo with an oblique twist.

I run in Vibram Five Finger KSO's. It is really great for strengthening  feet, ankles and calves, not to mention the aerobic benefits. I also do distance rides on unicycles for core and balance workouts. I am going to start doing some Indian Club Swinging after reading these posts.

So, EC, how hard is it to Unicycle??? That might be a really fun diversion, with cardio and core at the same time.

Thanks,

Tim-

My youngest son learned in a day, it took me about two weeks. It is like a lot of things, the more you stick with it the quicker it comes. Start out with a 20" wheel unicycle, smaller wheels are easier, and work your way up. Once you get it, it is a lot fun and on the 36" wheel uni's you can go out for fun 10,20 mile and longer rides. If you do try it, make sure you wear wrist guards when you start. Good luck, I am sure will get it very quickly. www.unicycle.com is a great source of info and equipment.
Hope this helps,

Thanks, I am going to give it a go.  That would be an AWESOME triathlon... SUP on boards under eight feet... Unicycle... and what else for the third discipline?  :)

How many of you tried the Iron cross with a set of club bells or indian clubs. Its one hell of an exercise.
