Man. You are going to blow through with the surf. It's a 25 mph capping kiting day today in SoCal. No surf :( I hope you come back up to San Clemente when palm trees are in the upright position.
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

Yeah it's also still pretty cold here. Definitely back soon.

I just spoke to Tino and it sounds like he is heading to San Diego tonight . The plan is for him to call on Bird's Shed and Pacific Paddle Sports in the late morning (Tuesday) and get a surf and demo session set up at Tourmaline Surf park sometime close to noon. I'll be there with my 8'10" speed and he'll be bringing several demo boards, but I'm not sure which ones.

The wind should be good tomorrw, surf hopefully will clean up and the tide will e 5 foot and dropping. Sould be fun, see you all there.

Looks nice there, but I know it's pretty cold by our standards. Air is 56 deg / Water 62 deg. I actually put my fullsuit in my car yesterday. It's really winter this year. The surf here is crumbly and jumbled. The tide is dropping, but the wind is starting to pickup. Hopefully we'll get a chance to at least meet and check out the boards later today..

Well Tino finally made it to San Clemente. I was a little bummed that the speeeds were all sold. No demo for me:( He still had an Acid but it looks more like a skateboard to my size 14 feet. Anyway, super cool that he made it, and we got to meet. We'll have to have a San Diego zoner demo day. I'll drive down and possibly Tom might bring some of his Sunova stash.

Tino met me and my long time friend Damian Brawner at his board shop in San Clemente. We had an interesting discussion on what type of board construction people prefer. I'll start a thread on that, because it poses a great debate. Cool to spread the Sonova stoke. Best of luck to Tino, Bert and Company.

My newest  good  friend  Tino left his 9  0 flow with me  until he returns in February. So if anyone  wants  to   demo it or if anyone  wants  to  try  my 8 10   let me know.

lol, thanx for posting that shot, Creek! But pretty sure that was actually my first wave on the 9'2" Flow! "Going with the Flow"! I LOVE the template on that board and would probably go w/the 8'10/124 ltr model as a go to. Although step up and step down models would be in my "Dream Quiver"! Along w/three similar sizes of the Speeed! Doesn't cost anything to dream!
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"
