I'm redoing the old Ponohouse site, not with all the old stuff, but in the process of digging around in the guts I found a lot of old pictures, inclding some from the board test we did in 2008 or 2007. Whatever. Anyway, there's a bunch of cool photos, including these. I know bob can identify these people, but see if you can:

This one's easy, I think she was 14 or 15"

Another easy one, but funny. Might have a career in plumbing:

Still missing one. Kai wasn't there. I think Martin was, but my memory sucks.

Here's a few more. One of those rare pictures of the guy on the left--something to do with witness protection. And of course Mr. Lumpy on the right.

Here's a guy on an 18' board he designed more for flatwater than what he's famous for. It's similar to a board lumpy was just complaining about.

Some lifeguard named after a comic strip, some fat old guy, and the guy from above.

Wasn't that Slater behind Zane?  I don't remember that being a tandem, though (any more than most SUP's were at that point).

That was such a great time. I wish someone would do something similar now. Can you imagine how many boards and paddles would be there to have the same representative sample of the industry today? I bet at least 75% of the board manufacturers at the time were there and probably 90% of the paddles. There hasn't been anything like it since.
FWIW I have all the pictures too and all the board and paddle comparisons....the ones where we added the size grid. LOL...I even still have some of the swag....kenalu/SUJ rash guard and travel coffee mug.... ::)
