Durability of a production SimSup? Especially the finish.

I have someone interested in buying my L41 SimSup 8' S3 production board.  He is asking about paint chipping and board durability.  Says he has a Nugg that gets paint chips and then water gets under the paint, creating a water bubble.  Does a production SimSup do that?

I bought a Production Simsup S3  8'8 about a year ago and was initially concerned with durabilty (I had an Allwave before that was bullet proof).

I've had it out about 20 times and no issues so far. As a matter of fact, I had it out in shoulder high surf one day and my lease broke. As I paddled back in to retrieve it, I watched it go over some rocks, then get washed back over those same rocks as the water receded. I think this probably happened like 5 times. I thought for sure, I would have multiple dings to repair when I finally got to the board. Man, that was so painful to watch!

Well, fortunately and miracleously, there we no punctures or dings...I couldn't believe it. There were a lot of scratches, but all in all, I think I got off pretty easy.

IMHO, these boards are pretty durable.
