How do you kick your board through the lip of big waves when paddling out?

I normally can't watch videos with the gopro mounted on the nose cuz it looks funky but that looked good. What's the set up you're using? Is that Encinitas area?

Thanks!  I am the same way and can't watch the nose mount either, this is why i built my own elevated mount.
