No secret we in the northeast been socked by Old Man Winter these last few weeks. I ordinarily don't enjoy sledding that much, but this time I decided to try out "Big Red", my plastic Imagine Surfer on the slopes. My wife took video with her iPhone and my nine year-old kid created the video.

It took a little while to figure out steering with my Kahuna Stick. It worked best when I just dragged the stick on the ground in the direction I wanted to go. Pushing was a little more awkward. After half a dozen runs, I had it down pretty well. It was a lot of fun, and I could fit two kids on it with me.

Nice thing about a plastic board was that I didn't have to worry about hitting anything. Shlepping it up the hill wasn't to bad. I hooked one of my roof rack straps to the nose handle and pulled it behind me. Plastic boards rule! (In some situations.)

We got even better snow today, so I might take it out again soon. The only problem is shlepping that 47 lb board the two blocks to the hill.
