Sunday July 22

Terranea Resort in PV to Cabrillo Beach.
Approx. 2pm

Drop boards at Terranea and shuttle most cars to Cabrillo, then car pool back for run.

Chime in if you want to join us.  Subject to wind direction.

Roland,
Thanks for arranging these DW runs.  My foot injury is still day to day.
I can't commit to this weekend now, but if my situation improves sufficiently, I'll chime in.

btw, what type of wind conditions are sufficient? Direction: W only, or SW or NW?

I was looking at this site for wind forecast:

Thanks
Mike

I want to go but don't know if it will be possible, wife is on the last days of pregnancy...If I can do it, I might head out there early and do a spearfishing session before the run!

H2Oman

Marcelo, if you want to go spearfishing PM or call me.  I'm going to renew my license and the gun is all clean and ready.  Malaga Cove?  You need to watch the DFG boundaries around PV.  I think the no-take zone is from Rocky Point over past Terranea.

Marcelo

I was thinking of going straight out of Terranea...would you be on scuba or freediving? I don't have a tank...

H2Oman

Sent you a PM about the SMCA area.  Very limiting what you can do there, even though fishermen and spearo are their all the time...unaware of the regulations I'm sure.

Looks like a 3pm departure from the rocky cove.  If you want to join us, PM your email and I'll put you on the mailing list.

Mike, you're welcome to meet up with us just to hand before/after if you foot hasn't healed.  If you're foot is game, join us.  More than happy to help schlep your board to the water.  Renan wore some water sneakers the whole way....something to consider.

mik911

Roland, thanks for the offer-that's way cool, but my foot hasn't healed sufficiently for me to balance/walk the board on a DW run.

Put me on your mailing list for future runs:

Have a fun, safe paddle, and let us know how it goes.
