Nice little round house Tim. You wax, or monster paint your boards?

Tall Dude,

I usually pad them... this board was waxed because Chelu put the Country logo too low on the board... so out of respect for Roger, I just waxed it...  (Plus, I didn't want the extra weight)...

Now it has a pad on it... as it is just too darn challenging to ride that thing with just wax!

I am really trying hard to get down to 175 to see how it goes at that weight... been trying half heartedly for awhile... now I am fully committed.

Good on ya Tim. I have to do distance to get the weight down. Changing my eating habits will come some day, but only on doctors orders. After a good session, I need the grind! Minor slip on the logo. Chelu does an awesome job.
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

Tall Dude,

You are quite right.  Chelu does an amazing job... the best epoxy glasser around IMHO.

I ribbed Corran pretty hard on this one... "Gee, they managed to get an Imagine logo on there in the right place...???"

I couldn't launch too aggressively, however, as Corran (and Adam) delivered the board to Chelu, picked it up from Chelu, and delivered it back to me...

And, this is the board where I basically snuck into Corran's apartement in the dead of early morning on the way to the office, dropped it off, sent him a text, and thanked him...

See you soon Tally.

Get a GoPro and mount it on the paddle shaft.  Film yourself surfing in a variety of conditions and you will really get a good idea of what's going on with your feet.  I have always had a tendency to surf the middle part of the board, and have had good success watching video of myself on waves, and then consciously thinking about foot placement while surfing.  I've got a ways to go, but it's helped and it's a lot of fun. This has been really valuable as I've moved down from a 9'11 to an 8'-0 Simmons shape.  Turning is fun!

As you see fro the added photo , im with you on issue of having troubles getting the foot back..

To be fair , the waves were very small, the board is 7'4
Would love to hear on the progress of you guys...
