Not catching much

i am reading this thread with  the highest possible  interest. in 10 days or so i will be at the seaside to check out surfing the waves.
please keep the good advice coming.

Ok, so it's a little over a month later. I'm so addicted!! LOL I took all your advise, watched videos til my eyes bled, spent day after day after day on the water, countless bruises and sunburns, plus a few Atlantic storms, I think I got this! I've had so much fun now that I know what I'm doing. My paddling was WAY off, and I was not on the sweet spot. I have learned where and when to move on my board. Reading the water has gotten easier. I'm now ready to upgrade. 

Colas, the whopper has got lots of rocker. It's a good board, and it's been great to learn on but I'm ready for another one.
