I got my GoPro camera to show friends and family what I see.  One day last week, I set it up looking at
my blade work.  Yuck!  On in harbor flat water, I had the blade too high off the water on recovery.   It wasn't bad.  It is just that I know better.
Here is a quote I found that applies:  "If you're not comfortable with your release, it will be very hard to be aggressive with your drive.".
When I started, it looked so damn simple.  Yeah right.

Love using my GoPro as a training tool...keeps me humble too.

i use it in instruction to show students their stroke, particuliarly if they're struggling with a posture or similar issue where the body language or stroke is effecting their performance. for some, it's exciting to stand up the first time, great to catch that moment. cheers.

I love gopro's.  It's useful to capture what we see out there without having all of the gear to make a film about the journey.  Hey, what about a zone movie?

Go pro video will help identify quirks in your style / technique.  The new go pro is great.

Tom, I like the first pic with the arms all relaxed in a low brace  but the second is making my shoulders hurt.  For anyone that doesn't know, any time your hands or elbows are above the shoulder, DANGER!  Have there been many shoulder dislocations on SUP in the surf?
