1-2 ft waves on a 9-2 AA
« on: December 01, 2010, 04:30:36 PM »
Have a new BW PSH 9-2 AA and was kind of concerned that the board would not float my 190 stocky frame in the small gutless waves. Worked great and was able to move it and turn the board. Worked great for the small waves now looking forward to the larger upcomming winter surf.  Here is a vid of the session today. Burke's Beach, Hilton Head Island , SC.

Very Nice!  I was wondering if the ripper would work for me.  Looks like you get smooth performance outta that one

Very nice. Looks fun.
You seem to balance pretty well on the 9'2"

Define: Chilly.
Here in SoCal, the water temps dipped to a 'chilly' 51degrees yesterday.  Rarely gets this cold here.

Here in South Carolina its the 50/50 rule... air temps upper 49* f, water 54*f  chilly for here  our standards. Yes the 9-2 AA is a great floater for me for a smaller board .I like the AA models better than the ripper models for our slow waves. generates the speed with the lower rocker profile than the rippers which are better in the bigger waves with some power.. Thanks
