It takes real dedication to Surf in Maine   frigid water and brutal winters, gale force noreasters and......

 OMG!!!!  That's is too funny, Caribsurf. A moose, no less  ;D...
Hey; around 25 years ago I was surfing a local break called Micklers here in Ponte Vedra Bch with some buds. All of a sudden I see surfers scattering and yelling in the lineup as if a shark was chasing something or someone. Turned out to be an 8 to 10 ft gator just cruising along as if he/she owned the place. I will never forget that day. I think that was one of the weirdest days 'ever' for me surfing...

Moose............come north of the border and its the polar bears you need to worry about.

I can see it now... The starboard moosehunter special SUP... Also for frog gigging in the Bayou... U could have some real fun with the features... But puppy just pooped and I can see the Sw swell filling in... OUT!

Hey JD I always wondered why more gators don't end up in the lineup in Florida,
maybe all the sharks scare them away?  :)
